THE FINAL COUNT-DOWN

on friday, i will be heading here to spend a much needed weekend with three of my girlfriends!

we are going to be scrapbooking from 3:00 p..m. friday till sunday noon.

~

i'm sure there will be much talking, giggling and eating during the time as well!

~

here's to hoping we don't have a run in with the law like the last time we were there!

THE HUNT

easter morning wa met with the typical easter basket filled with fun little goodies.....but this year the easter bunny did something a bit different with the easter egg hunt.

there was an arrow of eggs pointing to an empty puzzle box and a note telling aubrey to look for 80 plus eggs. in each egg was one or two pieces of puzzle the puzzle. the easter bunny thought this would be a fun little way to have a hunt without the candy.

EGGS

our yearly egg dying event. this year aubrey did two dozen! after the first dozen hard boiled eggs she talked her dad into letting her die the un boiled ones.....only one was dropped!

i saw on someone elses blog as i was lurking about, a tutorial on how to die your eggs using silk ties. we were planning to give that a try....but the goodwill store closed up before i had a chance to get over there to purchase some.....and the few extra neck ties that chuck had in his closet that he could part with were only polyester....so maybe next time we will try that out.
