two weeks ago aubrey was able to go on a field trip with the entire first grade from her school. the school buses five classes to the "Wapsi Environmental Learning Center". there they got to learn about wild animals and birds in our area. but i would have to say the highlight of the trip was learning to walk with snow shoes. one of the other moms went along an snapped some pictures of her class. the first is of aubrey after she fell into the snow.....the second looks like her class getting there instructions on how to put the snow shoes on. ~
the second field trip aubrey went on was last week.....the went to the high school to see Ballet Quad Cities in a preformence of "The Ugly Duckling." she loved it!

at the end of the month she will get to go to the Putnam Museum and see the egyptian exhibit. she can't wait to go on that trip as well.

last year she only got to go on one trip.....thanks to some extra funding and a couple grants the school is able to do a bit more this year.
